This year is my sixth year as a fanfiction writer. To celebrate, I asked for six prompts from six people and today I am posting the first piece I have written in response.
It's fitting somehow that today's piece was written for
kitty_poker1. She's been my pal for so long that I can't remember not knowing her. She's simply one of the most splendid women in the universe and I love her dearly. She gave me the prompts of Spander and red silk and here's the result. I hope that she, and the rest of you, enjoy it.
Thank you, each and every one of you, for making my six years in fanfiction so incredibly marvelous! I love writing and I love you!
Gabrielle

The Red Shirt
You know you’ve gotten way too comfortable with someone when you start wearing their clothes.
Willow and Tara do that – and no, Xander really doesn’t need to go there because that’s the gay place and he’s still sailing down “De Nile” when it comes to the idea that sucking Spike’s dick and liking the feel of Spike’s dick in his ass makes him gay. He’s still telling himself that it’s all about being young and horny. That works.
So no, he’s not joining the Village People just yet, even if he is a construction worker who gets bent over a crypt on a semi-regular basis (if “semi-regular” means every time he can get away from Anya, which is scarily often and maybe not so much with the “semi” as the “regular”).
Maybe he should have made it more “semi”, or maybe Spike should have said something instead of letting Xander absentmindedly put on the first shirt he found laying on the floor, because now Xander is in Buffy’s living room and there are several pairs of eyes on him – wide and confused eyes.
“Xander,” Willow asks. “Since when do you wear red silk?”
He has no idea what to say to that. And Spike licking his lips and smirking?
So not helping.
The End.
